Biography
Chenxi is a 21-year-old nature and conservation photographer and filmmaker, currently studying Biology & Environmental Science at the University of Navarra in Pamplona, Spain. Through his imagery, he seeks to bring the intrinsic beauty of nature and untold stories of conservation to a wider audience.
His work has been featured in various media, including Rewilding Europe, Prisma Photo Magazine, Bizi Natura, La Razón, El Diario, and several regional outlets in Spain.
Having lived across three different countries and speaking four languages, he carries a deep appreciation for cultural diversity.
Experiences & Education:
- Photographer & Videographer at Rewilding Spain | Jul. 6–Aug. 3, 2026 | Volunteer: Documented Rewilding Spain’s current projects, from restoring natural grazing by megaherbivores such as tauros, horses, and bison to black vulture reintroduction, with work later published by Rewilding and various news media, including La Razón, El Diario, La Tribunal de Cuenca, etc.
- Camera assistant at Avis Producciones | Jun. 1-30, 2026 | Internship: Gained field experience alongside professional nature cinematographers while contributing to the production of the nature documentary HIRIAK, GREEN CITIES and the documentary programme Bizi Natura.
